“When Orange Met Chocolate... It’s the kind of flavor love story that was meant to be.” This quote from Fine Cooking Magazine is a parody on the classic film, When Harry Met Sally, where an unlikely couple end up falling in love. After trying Yotam Ottolenghi's recipe that blends fresh Satsuma citrus with dark Valrhona chocolate, you may become a fan of this combination, too. The cake is filled with freshly-ground almonds and soaked with a satsuma sugar syrup just when it comes out of the oven. Melted chocolate, butter and honey icing cover the cooled cake. Enjoy any time with coffee or tea, and maybe while (re)watching the film?
My Paleo Marin Rating: 2 Persimmons*

*My Paleo Marin Rating 1-5 Persimmons
I try out these recipes so you don't have to (and modify them for Paleo where possible). The rating will reflect my opinion of the final result in terms of taste, ease of preparation, nutrition, and sometimes, cost.
